Scott Tallent (Founder/CEO/President)

Whether it was playing or talking about sports, Scott has always been involved with some aspect of sports. While attending college at the University of Tennessee, Scott developed a friendship with a former UT player. The friendship allowed Scott to get to know several other former UT players, who have played in the NFL. In 1999, Scott graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in Human Ecology - Marketing/Business. After graduating college, Scott began working for his family in the title industry as an abstractor. The knowledge he learned from being an abstractor provided him with legal knowledge in property transactions. The legal knowledge gave him the perspective on structuring things properly so business transactions could be accomplished correctly. During his time as an abstractor, Scott learned a great deal of knowledge but knew his desire was to be involved in the apparel industry. After several years as an abstractor, Scott decided to leave the occupation and establish his own apparel company, a company that would not only distinguish itself from others with its products but more importantly with its purpose.

In the summer of 2003, the actual idea of creating the inspiring, enhanced tech apparel company began when Scott moved to New York City to inquire help from his friend. The two met on the weekends and discussed aspects regarding the apparel industry. The experience his friend had in the clothing business helped to provide Scott with more of an understanding of the industry, which gave insight into the designs and manufacturing of the Thaddea apparel. With help and determination, the company now known as Thaddea evolved into reality.

Mike Lawrence (Vice President of Global Thaddea Apparel)

Born in Jamaica and raised in Florida, fashion has always been a part of Mike's life. At a young age, he became fascinated by what people wore and the way they coordinated their outfits. In addition to his fashion interests, Mike participated in several other sports including football where he was named to the All-State team in both his junior and senior year and received the Athlete of the Year award as a senior.

During his playing days at Kansas State University, Mike played running back. As a freshman he was awarded the Overachiever Award and was included in the KSU 300+ Club. By the time his playing days were over, he had become the all-time leading rusher at KSU. Though Mike was successful on the field, he was just as successful in the classroom. Mike received his Bachelors and Masters Degree in Business Marketing. After finishing college at Kansas State University, Mike began playing professionally with the NFL as a free agent and then in the European League. While in Europe he was one of the top running backs where he rushed for over 1000 yards, received for over 1000 yards, and scored 30+ touchdowns. In his final year he was named MVP of the Year. Once Mike returned from Europe he began playing in the Arena Football League. His stint lasted for over eight years with three different teams.

Though Mike enjoyed playing sports, he was also just as intrigued by the fashion industry. Mike's style of dress was not typical of an athlete. He's philosophy; "dressing for success" is an idea he believes sets the framework for achieving goals and dreams. In college, some of his classes consisted of designing clothes that ultimately helped him start his own clothing line called "Laurenz Fashions". His line was inspired by high upscale fashion like Dolce Gabbana, Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, Marc Jacobs, and Kenneth Cole.

After college and during his professional career, Mike continued to pursue his interests in fashion design. This ultimately led him to crossing paths with Scott Tallent who had just started his own athletic apparel label, Thaddea. Mike and Scott teamed up and used their business backgrounds to further the development and structure of Thaddea.
